Designing Thoughtfully at the Intersection of People, AI, and Systems

I'm Ria, a UX designer with experience in AI products, including image annotation and human-in-the-loop tools. I’ve crafted demos and pitch decks, led design initiatives, and am now completing my Master of Design Innovation at USYD. I believe design should be intentional, empathetic, and invite reflection shaping systems that support people, not just efficiency.

  • Translated HACCP compliance workflows into app experiences by mapping clear user flows across different user types, ensuring usability and regulatory alignment.

  • Delivered two client apps in the first month, which were well-received and helped build early confidence in Klara’s product direction.

  • Ran co-design workshops with leadership and industry experts to stress-test ideas, identify edge cases early, and align on scalable design patterns.

  • Conceptualised and designed 2 projects (Image Annotation and Human-in-the-loop tool) with a keen focus on consistency and scalability, ensuring seamless user experiences.

  • Created captivating product demo videos to effectively showcase DataPure's offerings to clients, highlighting key product features and benefits.

  • Designed context-specific pitch decks that played a pivotal role in the company's marketing efforts and facilitated the establishment of valuable client relationships.

  • Assisted in crafting engaging and brand-aligned LinkedIn posts, resulting in increased follower engagement and a stronger online presence for DataPure.

  • Ideated and designed brand collaterals, including brochures and standees, for DataPure's social events, reinforcing the company's brand identity and visibility.

Interaction Design, Hammoq

  • Identified gaps in previous bespoke designs and developed a design system to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability, thereby saving valuable design time

  • Utilised the atomic design methodology to organise design elements into a design system, optimizing the design process for Hammoq's App (Web and Mobile).

  • Designed marketing product shots for the Web and Mobile App, enhancing visibility on the App Store and Play Store. Assisted in UX research, conducting UI audits, and effectively collaborating with the development team to implement design decisions.
